1. We’ll post awareness ads around town in the places where drug use is most prevalent and where people have the most time to ponder the message of an ad–bars, clubs, subway stations and trains, bodegas, etc.
2. We’ll work with local sponsors to provide bars with “Narcandy buckets.” We’ll have the bars post about it on their social channels, and those in the area can stop by to pick up a basket and hand out Narcan to friends and those they meet during Halloween bar-hopping. Each box of Narcan includes:
- ~5 boxes of Narcan
- a QR code to a video on how to administer it
- stats on the risks of fentanyl overdose
- fun stickers and pins to alert people that they’re someone who carries Narcan
- info on where to request a free supply of Narcan
3.We’ll introduce “Narcan Man.” He’s dressed as the hot pink Narcan logo, and he goes around to bars handing out Narcan and spreading awareness about the prevalence of fentanyl and the importance of carrying Narcan. He also does karaoke.
Note: I prefer to work with real live Art Directors, but getting by with a little help from AI in the meantime. Words are all mine, though!
